OFFSET PRINTING
Offset printing is a technique of so-called flat printing, which means that the individual elements of the offset printer matrix are at the same level. This type of printing uses the phenomenon of mutual repulsion of printing and non-printing factors. The used printing form made of aluminum requires special processing, and the inks used are extremely intense. Offset printing is used for printing posters and catalogs, leaflets, books, maps, and multi-colored materialsWhen to choose offset printing:
- for larger orders (min. 150-200 pieces of packaging),
- when the priority is wide color management possibilities and high quality of rich refinements.
DIGITAL PRINTING
A printing method that prints an image directly based on data sent from a computer without the use of intermediate carriers and printing forms. This allows for saving time on order fulfillment as well as the cost of preparing tools for printing. For the same reasons, almost any personalization (modification) of each individual copy of the printed materials is possible. The digital printing method is used for small runs and various paper weightsWhen to choose digital printing:
- packaging graphic design
- when time is of the essence and the order must be completed "immediately",
- for small orders,
- when prints are to be personalized (e.g., change of personal data, graphics on each copy).
FLEXOGRAPHIC PRINTING
The name flexography comes from the Greek word flexo – flexible. This printing method uses convex flexible printing forms (usually made of polymers, less often rubber) and fast-drying liquid inks. It is one of the more economical printing methods. Flexographic printing technology is developing very fast, currently guaranteeing high quality of implementation: with intense colors and details. When to choose flexographic printing:
- when the design does not require high-quality printing,
- in the case of large repetitive series.
